Messages and Requests for Additional Information in the Electronic Claims Processing Service Iris
When you apply for claims through Iris and the insurance fund needs additional information, you will receive an email from an address ending with Netmiller. This message can easily end up in your spam folder, so please remember to mark it as a safe email in your settings. This is especially likely if you have logged into the service with your work email. We recommend using a personal email address for Iris’s information and registration.
Processing of Kela Reimbursements for Physiotherapy at Contract Locations
Currently, the processing of Kela reimbursements for physiotherapy is not possible at all our contract locations. Unfortunately, some of our partners are unable to deduct the Kela reimbursement at the time of the visit. In this case, for physiotherapy treatments received after May 1st, you must first apply for reimbursement for the first four sessions (which are Kela reimbursable) through OmaKela. The additional benefit will be processed with the same application. You do not need to apply separately for reimbursement from Iris for these first four sessions. Only after these four sessions can you apply for reimbursement from Iris. You can find more information and instructions for applying for physiotherapy on the fund’s website under Staff 46303 – Vakuutuskassa and selecting the appropriate benefit Physical Therapy.
Survey for Insured Members
A satisfaction survey for insured members will be published in August. In the survey, we will explore issues related to our fund’s reimbursements and development. You, the insured members, have the opportunity to influence the operations of our fund by responding to the survey. We will announce the publication of the survey through all our communication channels.
New Rules for Kone’s Employees’ Insurance Fund for Staff
The new rules for Kone’s employees’ insurance fund for Staff are still pending approval from the Financial Supervisory Authority. We will announce the effective date of the rules as soon as we have received the approval. The processing time at the Financial Supervisory Authority is also affected by summer vacation periods, which is why the processing has been delayed.
Summer Claims Processing
During the summer, there may be delays in claims processing due to vacations and substitutions. However, Iris applications are processed regularly, and we aim to keep the queues to approximately two weeks. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Wishing you a happy midsummer celebration and summer time!
