KONE EMPLOYEE BENEFIT FUND FOR OPERATIVES
NOTICE OF SPRING MEETING
You are warmly welcome to the Spring Meeting of the Kone’s Employee Benefit Fund for Operatives.
The meeting will address the statutory financial statements and decide on amendments to the Fund’s rules, some of which affect the content of the rules while others clarify their current wording.
TIME AND PLACE
The Annual Spring Meeting of the Insurance Fund will be held on
Tuesday, 28 April 2026 at 14:00.
The meeting will be arranged in hybrid format, and participation is possible either remotely via Microsoft Teams or in person at KONE’s premises, Hissikatu 3, Hyvinkää, meeting room London.
REGISTRATION AND VOTING RIGHTS
Participation and the use of voting rights require registration by 18 April 2026 via the Webropol form:

Registered participants will receive the meeting invitation, participation link and meeting materials by email. Voting will take place electronically, and participants will receive separate instructions on voting and meeting procedures after the registration period has ended. A phone number is requested during registration for potential voting procedures. Please note that the meeting may be long, and all participants must be prepared to remain until the meeting concludes.
PROXIES
Any proxies must be submitted at the time of registration via the same form. Proxies submitted after registration cannot be accepted.

MATTERS TO BE ADDRESSED AT THE MEETING
1. Matters pursuant to section 34 of the rules
a) Presentation of the financial statements and the auditor’s report
b) Decision on adoption of the financial statements
c) Decision on granting discharge from liability to the Board and the Managing Director
d) Decision on the use of surplus or coverage of deficit
e) Decision on other necessary measures
2. Proposed amendments to the rules as presented by the Board
The amendments include changes affecting benefits as well as clarification of the structure and wording of the rules.
KEY CHANGES AFFECTING BENEFITS
– Reimbursement level for doctor’s fees: reduced from 100% to 90% and reimbursement structure clarified.
– Reimbursement of medicines under the Health Insurance Act: reduced from 100% to 90% above the initial deductible.
– Reimbursement for examinations and treatment: reduced from 100% to 90%, 1000 € cap per diagnostic test
– Reimbursement for massage: reduced from 90% to 80%, with clarified structure.
– Surgical procedures: clarifications and introduction of a reimbursement cap of €5,000.
– Dental care: clarification of reimbursement criteria.
OTHER CHANGES
– Clarification of the structure and wording of the rules
– Harmonisation of rule numbering
– Clarifications related to meeting and voting procedures (notice periods, registration and delivery of proxies)
