Contracts with healthcare providers
- When visiting a private healthcare provider with an invoicing contract, present your Kela-card with the EBF number. That way the healthcare provider will know to invoice EBF directly.
- 46303 (staff)
- 46302 (operatives)
- The healthcare provider will charge EBF members the deductible:
- Staff:
- 25 % for doctor’s fees and examinations
- 25 % for physiotherapy and 50 % for massage
- Operatives:
- 20% for MRI scans
- 10% for physiotherapy and massage
- Staff:
- Treatment fee must be paid by the member and reimbursement is applied for afterwards from the fund
- If you visit a private healthcare provider with which EBF does not have an invoicing contract, you must first pay the invoice yourself and then apply for reimbursement from the fund. Please remember that in such cases, the service provider is allowed to deduct the Kela -reimbursement from the total invoice amount.
Please note that there are significant price differences between healthcare providers. Laboratory tests are most affordable at Synlab.
By primarily using the employer’s occupational health services and the fund’s contracted partners, we can help reduce the fund’s expenses.
